NEW Break Free Alliance's 2012 Winter Webinar Series - February 15-29th Addressing Tobacco Use in Homeless Populations - Free registration is now open!
In 2009, Break Free Alliance facilitated an expert panel to initiate dialogue on how to address tobacco use in homeless populations. One result of the expert panel was a document developed to share recommendations on ways to best address tobacco use among the homeless (view recommendations here). The purpose of the 2012 Winter Webinar Series is to expand on the recommendations from the expert panel and to share new successes, challenges and promising practices with a wide audience.
The three-part webinar series will offer state tobacco control program staff and social service providers the opportunity to participate in the following webinars:
Making the Case: Tobacco-Free Policies and Cessation Programming for Homeless Populations Wednesday, February 15, 11:00am-12:30pm PDT
Systems Change: Integrating Tobacco-Free Policies and Cessation Services into Homeless Service Provider Settings Wednesday, February 22, 11:00am-12:30pm PDT
